She is currently working on a project dealing with the history of agricultural dependence on migrant labor in Southern California through a synthesis of painted and printed media. Her last solo show, Landsmen, opened in New York at Lombard-Freid Projects in June 2011, and explored the Brooklyn Navy Yard as well as transformed military sites in the Marin Headlands where she recently completed a residency at the Headlands Center for the Arts. Her large, colorful oil paintings have been shown at the Cleveland MOCA, at Angles Gallery in Santa Monica, and Artspace in New Haven, among others and Ms Struble has completed residencies at the Vermont Studio Center, Can Serrat in Catalonia, and the Andratx Cultural center in Mallorca. She has taught at Common Ground in New York, through the Consortium of Advanced Studies in Barcelona, and has been a visiting artist/lecturer at the University of Wisconsin Madison and the University of Illinois Chicago.
