Wendy Shapiro's Biography
Wendy Shapiro received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Commercial Art from Millersville University in Pennsylvania and completed her Master of Fine Arts from San Diego State University. As a design professional, Wendy has worked with various clients designing books, pamphlets, posters, and book jackets. Shapiro has been a lecturer at San Diego State University teaching various graphic design classes since 2007. Wendy is engaged in the art of bookmaking, printmaking techniques, and graphic design. She explores collage and the layering of elements in her work. From concept to execution, she takes life experiences, observations, and perspective to convey a narrative.
