Spectra explores the use of color as both element and subject in the work of ten artists from Los Angeles, New York and San Diego. Incorporating painting, sculpture, video, performance and sound-sculpture installation, the exhibition provides a broad array of chromatic experiences.
Spectra opens it doors on August 25, 3013 and runs through November 25, 2013, with an opening reception set for September 19, from 6:30pm to 8:00pm.
The Downtown Gallery is free and open to the public Thursdays thru Monday, 11:00am to 4:00pm. The Gallery is closed Tuesday & Wednesday, and major holidays (August 31 through September 2, and November 11). For more information, please call: (619) 501-6370.
