Please view the map to the School of Art, Design, and Art History parking and galleries for a detailed view of how to get to the School for special events.

PLEASE NOTE: the Parking Structure 8 third level spots (SP160, SP400) are only available during selected special events or with a special parking permit during all other hours. If you are visiting the school outside of a special event, you need to stop at the parking booth at the North end of campus at the corner of College Ave. and Canyon Crest Drive to buy a temporary permit.

You may also drive directly to the "W Lot" to pay for metered parking. Both the "X Lot" and "W Lot" have stair access to the the main levels of the Art buildings.

Driving directions:

To get to to the School of Art, Design, and Art History using the university's main driving entrance, do the following:

  1. Take Highway 8.
  2. Exit College Avenue South.
  3. Turn Right at Canyon Crest Drive.
  4. Follow the road to a three way stop. Turn Left onto Aztec Circle Drive.
  5. Turn right into the first parking structure to your right (PS8) and proceed to the third level.
  6. Park in white spaces marked for SP 160.
  7. Exit the structure East by foot on the third level, to the street in front of the Arts and Letters building.
  8. Walk East parallel to the street, passing the Arts and Letters building on your left until you reach the Art South Building.
  9. You can enter the Art South Building's first set of double doors on the 5th floor to access the rest of the School.
  10. A permit is required and available from the Gallery Attendant or the School of the Art Office, Room A-505, in the Art Building North.

NOTE: Permits are not required for receptions and special lectures.
