SDSU Art Council Scholarships
Awards
The number and value of awards will be determined by the School of Art, Design, and Art History’s Scholarship Committee
Eligibility
Undergraduate and graduate students in any major. Preference will be given to students with a major in the School of Art, Design, and Art History and those who have completed 30 units of more of coursework in the School. Preference also will be given to applicants who will be enrolled in the next academic year.
Application
An online application including a 500 word statement regarding your financial situation, how the receipt of the scholarship would benefit you, and your current and future artistic goals.
Additional
Studio applicants must submit 10 images of their work on CD. Art history applicants must submit a paper completed in an upper-division art history class. These materials must be submitted to the School of Art, Design, and Art History’s office by the application deadline.

About the Art Council
The SDSU Art Council has served as the School of Art, Design and Art History's community support group since 1978. Each year the Art Council plays an active role in the School by providing scholarships for talented students in the Art program.
