Award-winning Student Artist Presentations Now Available to View Online

Several Art and Design students discussed their evolution as artists at last month’s exclusive exhibition in La Jolla.

In case you were unable to attend the student presentation portion of the 17th Annual SDSU Art Council Scholarship Exhibition at the Athenaeum Music and Arts Library last month, you can now view several presentations online. This year’s award recipients and presenters include SDSU School of Art + Design students, Alejandra Cruz Rabago (multi-media), Kline Swonger (sculpture), and Avia Rose Ramm (painting and ceramics). Students, Katrina Bell (applied design)) and Juan Cabrera (painting and printmaking) were also selected, however, their presentations are not available for public viewing.

In addition to receiving the opportunity to discuss their individual journey as artists, the selected students received scholarships and prize money as well as the honor of showcasing their work at an exclusive exhibition at this sought after La Jolla venue.

The 17th Annual SDSU Art Council Scholarship Exhibition’s will run through July 6, 2019 in the Rotunda Gallery at the Athenaeum Music and Arts Library, located at 1008 Wall Street in La Jolla.
