Biographical Information

Lee Puffer graduated from the Massachusetts College of Art with a BFA from the Studio for Interrelated Media and later earned an MFA from San Diego State University.

Puffer’s sculpture, painting, and installation work offer cultural critique through personal and controversial imagery often utilizing appropriated and re-contextualized images and ideas from popular culture to add relevance and humor.

Puffer has exhibited at The Institute of Contemporary Art Boston, The American Museum of Ceramic Art, and The Women’s Museum of California among others. She is currently adjunct faculty at SDSU, Palomar College, Southwestern College, and Grossmont College, all in San Diego County, California.
