Rizzhel Mae Javier is a San Diego based artist, photographer and educator.

She currently works at Miracosta College teaching Beginning and Advanced level Darkroom Photography courses. Her instructional experience also includes drawing, painting, printmaking and graphic design at various schools including San Diego State University, Point Loma Nazarene University, Southwestern College and Palomar College.

Rizzhel is an active member in her community, constantly looking for ways to connect with the public to build fun and active learning environments. Her goal with community projects is to use photography and video as a vehicle for learning and providing people a forum for open communication.
