Art and design play a pivotal role in our ever-changing world, opening spaces for dialogue, giving voice to feelings and perspectives, and locating our common humanity. At SDSU’s School of Art and Design, our students are overcoming the numerous challenges of returning to college after COVID 19, and creating and learning despite the difficulties of the past year. During the pandemic, our faculty rose to the occasion, innovating new ways to practice and teach through virtual learning. And our staff came together to support students and the school through some very challenging times.
