Biographical Information

James Bowman is an art director, writer, and educator. He currently maintains a freelance practice doing work for a small, selective client list. Passionate about education, he began teaching design in 2002. Seeing so many students flourish and succeed ranks among his most rewarding professional experiences.

James has been an active part of the San Diego creative community through volunteer work and as a past member of the AIGA San Diego board of directors. His work has been featured in Communication Arts, Print Magazine, Lürzer’s Archive, the national ADDYs, Speak-Up (UnderConsideration), and the Twenty-Twenty book.
